this is an addition to a big saturday pot of chicken soup..out of the frozen north ..four buddies stop by from ice fishing...how to bulk load..or stretch yer soup
Ingredients:
eggs
flour(use enough to thicken)
season salt( i like mrs dash)
cold chicken chunks (cubed)
Directions:
1. its twenty below zero
2. you got a big kettle of chicken soup on simmer for lunch..with loads of tender veggies
3. the door gets opened
4. nobody even knocked
5. you let them in too many times before..its my own fault
6. oh for the love of William and Mary
7. take a cereal bowl and crack the eggs into it....(only remove shell frags if you like these guys alot)
8. tell your buddies to take there boots off or else
9. whisk in regular flour until its still yellow, but starts to get sticky to stir..
10. sprinkle Mrs dash and re whisk ..you may need to dash it up a couple of times.. when this chosen frozen ain't look-in..finger taste to your like-in..
11. tell one of Dem coconut heads to add a log to the fire..in the fireplace
12. from your refrigerator grab leftover cold chicken( cuz that's what i had) and debone- cube and do it quick. theres 4 of dem and one of me..
13. add the chicken cubes to the egg flour dumplins and don't use the whisk...the chicken cubes gets hung up...set the whisk down and just use a fork to coat and swirl into the dumplin mix
14. when your relaxed Saturday kettle of chicken soup is now in a robust boil- start to drop by tablespoon- dollops of the dumplins- and flip when thickened and floating.
15. get the first bowl cuz the chowder heads will show no mercy( from personal experience)
