I am working on a healthier version, lower in fat and calories I hope. 3 T toasted wheat garm and or 1 T sesame seed can also be added to this recipe if you desire.

3 cups quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, peanut butter, corn syrup, butter and vanilla. Stir in the oats, sunflower kernels, raisins, and wheat germ and sesame seeds if desired. fold in the chocolate chips.
2. Press into a 9x13 cake pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until set and the adges are browned. cool completely and cut into bars. Yield 2 dozen bars.
