Ingredients:
2 cups chestnuts
1 cup melted butter
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
3/4 cup cream
5 tablespoons chopped parsley
3 tablespoons grated onions
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
3 cups dry bread crumbs
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
3/4 cup seedless raisins (optional)
Directions:
1. Shell and skin chestnuts and drop into boiling water. Cook until soft, drain.
2. Put them through a potato ricer or food mill blender.
3. Combine with rest of ingredients and mix well.
4. Will stuff about a 10-12 pound turkey.
