Yummy. This is so tasty and so moist. Sure to please all. Enjoy Ingredients:
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring |
1 teaspoon vinegar |
8 egg whites |
2 cups sifted sugar |
2 cups heavy cream |
1 cup crushed pineapple drained |
3/4 cup maraschino cherries |
Directions:
1. Add vanilla and vinegar to egg whites then whip until mixture forms peaks.
2. Add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time beating until stiff and sugar is dissolved then pour into two round layer cake pans lined with aluminum foil and bake at 300 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
3. Cool well in pans.
4. Whip cream then add pineapple and cherries.
5. Frost layers with cream fruit mixture then chill for 12 hours or overnight.
