Cheesy Tater Tots

Ran out of ideas for my student's side dishes. Created this to offset the usual pasta or mashed potatoes. They fell in love with it.
Ingredients:
2# bag frozen tater tots or equivalent
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1/2 and 1/2
1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. granulated garlic
Directions:
1. Place tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet in 425 degree oven until crisp.
2. Mix both soups together with 1 can 1/2 and 1/2, cayenne, and garlic
3. Spray casserole dish with non stick spray and put 1/2 of the soup mixture in bottom of dish.
4. Add 1/2 of the crisp tater tots and mix well
5. Sprinkle 1/2 of the grated cheese on top of the potatoes.
6. Mix remaining potatoes with the soup mix and place in the casserole.
7. Top with remaining grated cheese.
8. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until browned and bubbling
