Cheesy Cornmeal Fritters

Something quick and cheesy . Goes well with just about anything.
Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal (i prefer yellow)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated onion
salt, to taste
3/4 cup boiling water
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
2. Fry in hot oil until golden on both sides.
3. Drain on paper towels.
4. Serve warm.
