This is a very basic and simple recipe that you can make ahead in a big batch and then fry right away or just freeze in the fridge for later.
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts
3 eggs, beaten
10 slices cheddar cheese
wheat flour, for coating
breadcrumbs, for coating
1 tablespoon sea salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper, to taste
frying oil
Directions:
1. Lay the chicken in a chopping board and cut each chicken breast vertically to 5-6 parts.
2. Cut each part horizontally so you can open them up like butterflies.
3. Stuff the chicken parts with cheddar cheese, and then flip the chicken to close it and lock the cheese inside.
4. Make sure each chicken part (with cheese stuffed on it) has already been neatly closed. Season with ground black pepper and sea salt.
5. Roll the chicken parts in the wheat flour, until it is thoroughly coated. Continue rolling them in the beaten egg and then the breadcrumbs.
6. Heat oil in frying pan, and when it is hot enough, fry the chicken until golden crisp.
7. Serve.
