Cheese & Sausage Bundles

A great make a head appetizer.
Ingredients:
500 g hot italian pork sausage
2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
2 cans chopped green chilies
4 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
75 wonton wrappers
water
Directions:
1. Uncase and separate sausage.
2. Brown sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Drain off excess drippings.
4. Combine cheese, chillies, green onions and sausage in a medium bowl.
5. Spoon 1 round teaspoon of sausage mixture near 1 corner of wonton wrapper.
6. Brush opposite corner with water.
7. Roll up “jelly roll” style.
8. Moisten ends of roll with water.
9. Bring ends together to make a “bundle” overlapping slightly and pressing firmly.
10. Repeat with remaining filling and wrappers.
11. Heat deep fryer to about 365.
12. Fry bundles a few at a time for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
13. Drain on paper towel and serve.
14. **Bundles may also be frozen and reheated in the oven.**.
