A jelly-roll style cheese ball . It's a nice change up from the norm.
Ingredients:
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1/4 cup softened butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon thyme
2 teaspoons coarse ground pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese, butter, garlic powder, onion powder and thyme.
2. Mix well.
3. Line a cookie sheet with plastic wrap.
4. Spread mixture to 6 x8 x1/4 thickness.
5. Cover and refrigerate 20 minutes.
6. Sprinkle with ground pepper.
7. Roll up like a jelly roll.
8. Sprinkle with paprika.
9. Cover and refrigerate several hours.
10. Slice and serve with crackers and/or party breads.
