Cheese Crust Ground Beef Pie

Ingredients:
1 garlic clove, crushed
3 tablespoons shortening
1 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons green peppers, chopped
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups tomato juice (recipe says no.2 can)
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup shredded cheese
3 tablespoons cold water
Directions:
1. Saute garlic in shortening 5 minutes. Remove. Add ground beef and green pepper. Brown. Stir in flour and salt. Add juice and cook until it is thick, stirring constantly. Mix in celery and worcestershire sauce. Pour into 8x8 baking dish.Top with Cheese Pastry: Sift flour and salt together. Cut in shortening. Add cheese. Sprinkle with water. Mix lightly. Roll out. Cover meat mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 400 degrees.
