Try this cheese and herb bread with your favorite soup.
Ingredients:
1 egg, well beaten
1 cup milk
1 tbsp. melted butter
2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/4 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. chopped dill or parsley (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine egg, milk and butter.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Make a well in dry ingredients and add milk mixture. Stir until well blended.
3. Spread into a greased 5x9 inch loaf pan
4. Bake at 350ºF for 45 minutes.
