I swear this stuff does tastes like some boudin I've had. My aunt gave me this recipe. I was shocked to know she would make something like this since she is an awsome 100% cajun cooker. The flavor is very good and it's usually eaten up at pot luck and holiday dinners. Read more . Hope you try and enjoy it!
Ingredients:
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can french onion soup
1 large bell pepper, diced
1-2 hot peppers, finely chopped
1/4-1/2 cup chopped green onion
parsley to taste
dash of salt
1 1/2 cup uncooked rice
1 pound lean ground beef, raw
1/2 pound ground pork, raw
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a 9 x 13 pan or casserole dish.
2. Don't brown the meat first, it'll cook with the rice.
3. Cover and bake at 400 degrees for about an hour.
4. You can stir it midway through cooking but it's not needed, I just can't leave anything alone.
5. we think it's slap ya mama good but you be the judge! :-)
