Charmie's Chinese Coleslaw

This is my favorite of all the Oriental slaws out there...just a little different in the dressing than others! I have to make this for all the BBQs!
Ingredients:
1 (24 ounce) package shredded coleslaw mix
4 -5 green onions, sliced
3/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup almonds, slivered
1/2 cup sugar (or less if you like it less sweet)
2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles, oriental flavor
Directions:
1. Combine oil, vinegar, sugar and seasoning packets from Ramen to make dressing.
2. Toast the almonds and sesame seeds in dry pan.
3. Mix the cabbage, onions and ramen noodles in large bowl.
4. Toss with dressing and nuts.
5. Let set in fridge to meld flavors.
6. NOTES: If you prefer your noodles crunchy, add right before serving.
7. Toss again before serving, as the dressing settles to the bottom.
8. Add chicken to make this a main dish salad.
