I have had quite a frustrating past with crepes until I worked with this lifesaver named Chandra. She let me in on a very old family recipe for crepes that are so simple yet so amazing! Give these a try, you won't regret it! Read more ! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups milk
2 tbsp. butter (melted)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
1. Hand mix! This is important here!
2. Mix all dry in glass bowl.
3. Add wet to dry and mix just until combined.
4. Use batter Asap!
5. Cook over medium heat in a nonstick pan.
6. Spray pan with oil and again after each crepe made.
7. Use ladle to add batter to pan and if you like use bottom of ladle to spread it out nice and thin instead of tilting pan :P
8. flip crepe when just golden on bottom and golden the other side.
9. repeat until batter is all gone.
10. *You can make them as thick or thin as you like as well*
11. Trick: keep crepes from sticking by adding wax paper between them.
12. Serve with fresh fruit and whip creme and you are in for some heaven!
