A compress can be used topically to remove excess heat from the body and is great for treating inflammation and swelling. This is from the Alive magazine.
Ingredients:
2 drops camomile oil
2 drops lavender oil
2 cups cold water
Directions:
1. In a large bowl add essential oils to water.
2. Stir to help oils mix.
3. Soak cotton cloth in water and gently squeese out excess.
4. Place on affected area.
5. Repeat as often as needed or until heat is gone from inflammed or swollen area.
