I got it frm my best friend . It was almost like a comfort food .
Ingredients:
all pupose flour or white flour ( maida ) 9 tbsp for making 6 .
baking soda 1/2 tsp
freshly grated coconut 3 tbsp
butter or olive margarine 2 tbsp
olive oil 2 tbsp
water
salt to taste
Directions:
1. Whisk the flour , soda and the salt .
2. Mix the coconut .
3. den mix the margarine well .
4. add water bit by bit until a ball forms . add the oil to avoid stickiness .
5. cover and set aside for 30 mins .
6. divide into 6 balls .
7. roll each into flat shape .
8. cook on a shallow pan .
9. Make sure it's completely cooked on one side before you flip it over .
10. Serve with hot chutney or gravy .
