Catie's Lower Sugar Chocolate Chip Cookies

We live at high altitude, so we use an extra 1/4 cup of flour.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugars well until light and fluffy.
2. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
3. Add 1 cup of the flour, baking soda and salt, mix well.
4. Add remaining 1 1/2 cups of flour, mix well.
5. Add chocolate chips and combine.
6. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
7. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
