This delicious dish covers tender carrots with a delicious butter, orange, and ginger sauce.
Ingredients:
1 lb. peeled and sliced carrots
1 tbs. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tbs. butter
Directions:
1. Cook carrots in boiling salted water until just tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
2. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, and ginger.
3. Add orange juice.
4. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
5. Cook 1 minute longer; stir in butter until melted.
6. Pour over hot carrots, tossing to coat evenly. Serve immediately.
