Carrot Turnip Casserole

This is a recipe from my aunt's cookbook. We always have it on Christmas!
Ingredients:
3 cups rutabaga, peeled and cubed
3 cups carrot, peeled and sliced
2 tbsp light margarine
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
3 tbsp all purpose flour
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Directions:
1. Bring two seperate saucepans of salted water to a boil. Place turnip in one and the carrots in th other.
2. Cook until tender.
3. Drain and mash the carrots and turnips together.
4. Add the margarine and eggs and stir until well combined. Set aside.
5. Preheat th oven to 375.
6. Coat casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
7. In a seperate bowl mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
8. Combine with the carrots and turnip mixture, mixing well.
9. Transfer to prepared baking dish.
10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until its beginning to brown on top.
