This is a very easy, quick dish that even children like. I use it as an alternative to mashed potato, for when I want to cut down on the carbs!
Ingredients:
6 large carrots, peeled & diced
1 large turnip, peeled & chopped
butter
salt & pepper
Directions:
1. Boil the carrots and turnip until they are tender enough for mashing.
2. Mash them.
3. Add salt & pepper to taste and stir through.
4. Add butter to taste and stir through.
