Carrot Casserole is one of those recipes that is a big hit with everyone. I can get my 3 year old to eat cooked carrots! Its very simple and filling. The only problem is it disappears so quickly.
Ingredients:
4 cups cooked carrots
4 tablespoons butter
1 small onion
2 tablespoons flour
salt & pepper (to taste)
1 1/2 cups milk
2 cups crushed frosted flakes
Directions:
1. Start by sauteing the crushed frosted flakes in 2 tbls butter. Remove from pan and set aside.
2. sautéing the chopped onions in 2 tbls butter.
3. Add flour, Milk and Salt & Pepper.
4. Heat until it reaches the consistency you desire
5. Add carrots and stir.
6. Pour into a 9x13 pan.
7. Place frosted flakes on top
8. Cook at 350 for 20 minutes.
