This recipe is from an old church cookbook. It's delicious and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Ingredients:
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup white flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted (1 stick butter)
1/2 cup almond oil
2 cups carrots, grated
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Mix the first 5 ingredients together.
3. Cream the sugar, eggs and oils together. Add this mixture to the flour mixture and mix well.
4. Finally, add the two cups of carrots, being sure to mix well.
5. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
