Caribbean Jerk Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce (i recommend cholula, any any will do)
  • 1 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 1/2 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp allspice
  • 1/8 tsp sage
  • 1/8 tsp thyme

Directions:

  1. Saute onions in butter in a sauce pan.
  2. Whisk in all other remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
  3. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  4. Enjoy.
