Ingredients:
2- cups diced cooked ham
1- tablespoon brown sugar
1- teaspoon allspice
1/4- cup orange marmalade
2- tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2- ( 15 ounces) cans of black beans drained and rinsed
1-( 14.5 to 16) ounce can stewed tomatoes
1- ( 4.5 ounce) can chopped green chiles
topping
1 banana
1 - teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1- tablespoon cilantro --------fresh and chopped
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan or dutch oven combine all chili ingredients.........
2. cook over medium - high heat for 10- to 12 minutes or until chili is thoroughly heated through and the flavors are blended.......stirring occasionally....................
3. slice banana into a small bowl add lemon juice toss to coat
4. top each bowl of chili with banana slices and sprinkle cilantro on it
5. serves 4
