Caramelised Onion Hummus

Ingredients:
2 teaspoons butter
1 cup chopped onion
3 teaspoons brown sugar
400 g chickpeas, drained
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup tahini
2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions:
1. Melt butter, add chopped onions.
2. Cook medium to high heat till soft.
3. Stir in brown sugar, cook further 3 - 4 minutes to caramelize sugar.
4. Place all other ingredients including the caramelized onions into food processor.
5. Puree till smooth.
6. Serve with pretzels.
