Bet you can't eat just one! A shortbread type crust with a caramel topping. So easy!
Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup margarine
4 egg yolks, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
pinch of salt
topping
4 egg whites
2 cups brown sugar, packed
Directions:
1. Mix sugar and margarine until fluffy.
2. Add yolks and vanilla. Mix.
3. Add flour and salt and mix.
4. Press into a 9 x 13 pan
5. For topping, beat egg whites until stiff.
6. Fold in brown sugar.
7. Pour over base.
8. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
