Moist cake with a caramelized sauce, baked to create ooey, gooey bliss.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
4 cups boiling water
Directions:
1. Cream butter and granulated sugar.
2. Add flower, baking powder and salt.
3. Stir in milk and mix until smooth.
4. Spread into greased 8x13-inch pan.
5. Boil water and dissolve brown sugar. Pour over batter.
6. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
