Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine milk, flour and eggs together making sure the flour does not lump on you.
  2. In a dutch oven, over high heat bring the brown sugar, water and butter to a boil. Boil together for 2 or 3 minutes, this will give you a strong caramel flavor.
  3. While it's boiling, add the flour mixture to the boiling sugar water mixture. I use a whisk for this and don't stop stirring until it is all incorporated into the boiling liquid.
  4. Remove from the heat, cool for 5 minutes stirring only once while you add in the vanilla.
  5. Pour into 2 baked pie shells.
  6. Allow the pie to cool and top with whipped cream. Enjoy!
