From the $7 a Meal Slow Cooker Cookbook. This dip can be used to top ice cream or as a fondue. Use sliced apples or cookies as dippers. I haven't tried this yet, but must return the book to the library, so am posting for future reference.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
4 apples, sliced
Directions:
1. In a 2 quart slow cooker, combine butter, corn syrup and brown sugar; stir well.
2. Cover and cook on high 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until mixture blends and sugar is dissolved.
3. Uncover and cook on high 1-2 hours or until it simmers.
4. Add peanut butter and condensed milk.
5. Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours or until well blended and thickened.
6. Serve with apples or cookies or over ice cream.
