Caramel Marshmallow Ice Cream

I have had this saved in a box since tearing it from a 1989 Womens's Weekly and still I have not got around to trying it !!!
Ingredients:
100 g pink marshmallows
1/2 cup thickened cream
2 liters vanilla ice cream
1 cup caramel, flavoured topping
Directions:
1. Combine marshmallows and cream in pot.
2. Stir over low heat till marshmallows have melted.
3. Cool.
4. Slightly soften ice cream in large bowl.
5. Swirl through marshmallow mix and topping to give a marbled effect.
6. Return to ice cream container, cover and freeze till firm again.
