I got this recipe from my grandmother and it is yummy! I made it before we went on vacation this summer and it was all gone by the time we reached our destination.
Ingredients:
6 quarts popped corn
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
Directions:
1. Melt margarine, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt in a sauce pan.
2. Bring to a boil for five minutes, mixing well.
3. Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla, stir in quickly.
4. Pour over corn and pecans and mix until corn is coated.
5. Pour corn into two large flat pans and bake at 250 degrees for 1 hours.
6. While baking, stir corn two or three times.
7. Remove from oven and cool completely.
8. Break larger clumps apart and store in an air tight container.
