You can dunk these cookies or eat it just like it is. Great cookie recipe and really easy to make. My daughter (10) made this all by herself!
Ingredients:
125 ml butter (1/2 cup)
5 ml caramel essence (1 teaspoon)
125 ml brown sugar (1/2 cup)
15 ml golden syrup (1 tablespoon)
300 ml self raising flour (11/4 cup)
Directions:
1. Mix the butter, essence,sugar and syrup until fluffy.
2. Mix the flour in.
3. Mix well.
4. Take a cookie press and press out any for on a greased baking tin.
5. If you don't have a cookie press, roll small balls and press on top with a fork.
6. Bake at 180 deg C (360 deg F) for 10 - 15 minutes until golden brown.
7. Let it cool down.
8. Place in a cookie jar.
