Delicious chocolate cookies with coffee in the mix.,hence,cappuccino cookies. Ingredients:
2c flour |
1tsp baking soda |
1/2tsp salt |
1/2c solid vegetable shortening |
1 stick unsalted butter,softened |
1/2c granulated sugar |
1/2c packed lt brown sugar |
1 large egg |
1tsp vanilla |
2tbs instant coffee |
1 pkg (10oz.) mini hershey's kisses for baking |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375. In a small bowl,combine flour,baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl,beat together shortening,butter and both kinds of sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Dissolve coffee in 4 tsp water. Stir into butter mixture,then stir in flour mixture unti soft dough forms.
2. With wet hands,roll dough into 1 balls. Place on non-stick baking sheets. Bake at 375 for 10 mins,then press 3 mini kisses into top of each. Cool cookies on a rack.
