the best biscuit to dip in espresso coffee
Ingredients:
12 oz plain flour
11 oz caster sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
8 oz whole almonds
4 oz ground almonds
3 medium eggs
2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
1. mix all ingredients to a soft dough
2. roll into sausage shapes 1 round
3. bake 180c till golden
4. remove from oven and cool slightly
5. while still warm slice at an angle with a serrated knife about 1cm thick
6. replace on tray and bake again until crisp and golden
7. cool on wire rack
8. when cool store in air tight container
