Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup cold butter
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2-1 cup miniature m&m baking bits
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine flour and brown sugar.
2. Cut in butter unil mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Stir in pecans.
4. Set aside 1/2 cup for topping.
5. Press remaining crumb mixture into a greased 9 inch square pan.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
7. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar.
8. Add egg, milk, lemon juice, and vanilla.
9. Mix well.
10. Pour over warm crust.
11. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
12. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set.
13. Immediately sprinkle with baking bits.
14. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars and refrigerate leftovers.
