She thought they should have been puffier, but I didn't care about that - they tasted great. Sweet, chewy, crunchy - very good cookie and so easy to put together using the refrigerated sugar cookie dough. Read more . colorful, too, with the holiday colors encrusted on the outside.
Ingredients:
1 tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough, softened
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
48 miniature snickers candy bars, or whatever other miniature candy bar or mint you want to experiment with (or cut full-size candy bars into mini pieces)
red and green colored sugar
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, beat cookie dough and flour until combined.
2. Shape about 2 teaspoonfuls of dough around each candy bar; roll in colored sugar.
3. Place 2” apart on parchment paper-lined baking sheets.
4. Bake cookies at 350° for 10 to12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
5. Remove to wire racks to cool.
