Ingredients:
6 medium yams ; sliced
1 cup brown sugar ; packed
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1.
Boil the cut up yams for 5-10 minutes.
2.
Remove from heat and run cold water over them.
3.
In a separate saucepan bring the remaining ingredients to a boil.
4.
Pour over the cooked yams in a casserole dish.
5.
Bake 375° for 30 minutes.
