A creamy pie that is a French tradition in northern Maine...Delicious!!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons butter
Directions:
1. Mix in pan the first 3 ingredients and add the 2 cups milk and the 3 egg yolks, beaten/ Cook on medium heat until boiling.
2. Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter- pour into pre-baked crust.
3. Chill.
