You can use this in place of salt when cooking fish, chicken, beef, pork. Just experiment with it. This will put some kick in your main dishes.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup salt
2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons paprika
1 1/2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon white pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a small jar. (The spice can be stored in a tightly covered glass jar in a cool dry place out of direct light for up to 4 months.)
2. Makes about 3/4 cup.
