Very simple mushroom dish that goes well with any grilled meat or fish. A great appetizer too!
Ingredients:
1 tbspoon olive oil
4 tbspoons butter
1 tbspoon finely minced garlic
1/4 kg. fresh shitake mushrooms,stems removed then sliced thinly
1 tbspoon juice of lime or calamansi
1 tbspoon cajun powder
1 small stalk of leeks chopped
pepper and salt to taste only.
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil and butter together in a non-stick pan,don't burn butter
2. Sautee garlic until slightly brown
3. Put mushrooms in the oil garlic mixture,continue sauteeing until mushrooms absorbs some of the oil
4. Pour lime or calamnsi juice in the mixture, cook for 1 min
5. Stir in cajun powder
6. Add in leeks,cook for another 1 min.
7. Serve while still hot.
