Ingredients:
2 cups uncle ben's converted brand rice (uncooked)
1/2 cup butter
1/16 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
2 bay leaves
2 lbs smoked sausage
1 green pepper, chopped
6 shallots, chopped
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can french onion soup
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (8 ounce) can water (use tomato can)
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients into a covered dish and either bake at 375 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or into a crock pot for6-8 hours on low.
