Cabbage, veggie, and pork soup that is full flavored, filling and low in calories, fat, cholesterol, carbs with moderate protein and fiber.
Ingredients:
1 head, large (about 7 dia) cabbage
1 3/4 cup whole kernel sweet corn
1 3/4 cup beans, kidney, red, mature seeds, canned
1 3/4 cup cut green beans
1 3/4 cup diced tomatoes in tomato juice
2 2/5 serving sausage
1 medium (2-1/2 dia) onions
4 cup chicken broth
8 medium carrots
10 stalk, small (5 long) celery
1/2 medium (approx 2-3/4 long, 2-1/2 dia) peppers, sweet, green
6 tsp cajun seasoning
3 tsp garlic powder
3 tsp onion powder
3 teaspoon basil
Directions:
1. Cut up, put in pot 1/2 full of water, put in liquid bullion and canned veggies with liquid, put in spices, put in meat, bring to boil and high simmer for 1 hour, low simmer for 30 minutes. Makes 25 cups
