Healthy Cabbage Soup that has lots of flavor and is a great way to get all of your veggies!
Ingredients:
4 cans chicken broth
2 cups water
4 stalks celery, chopped
6 carrots, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
5 mushrooms, sliced
1 head cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup barley
2 cups diced ham
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 dash salt
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
