My version of the cabbage soup from the diet fad that went around.
Ingredients:
1 large head of cabbage (aprox 16 cups)
2 cups onions
2 cups green peppers
2 cups celery
2 cups green beans
2 cups carrots
1 (48 ounce) can v8 vegetable juice
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (2 1/2 ounce) package onion soup mix
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
1 tablespoon minced garlic clove
1/2 tablespoon pepper
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
Directions:
1. Put everything in a large pot and bring to a boil. Simmer till vegetables are to your liking.
