Cabbage Roll Soup

Delicious and easy soup! Normally hubby and I dislike cooked cabage, but for some reason it's wonderful in this soup!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 (16 ounce) package coleslaw mix
1 chopped onion
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
2 (15 ounce) cans beef broth
1 cup water
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/3 cup brown rice
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon basil
1 tablespoon parsley
Directions:
1. Brown and drain hamburger. Add onion and cole slaw, cook covered 4 minutes.
2. Add tomatoes, broth, water, brown sugar, and lemon juice and spices.
3. Bring to a boil, add rice.
4. Reduce heat, simmer 45 minutes or until rice is tender.
