Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut cabbage into wide strips.
  2. Melt 1 stick of butter in a large pot.
  3. Add onion and cook, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add cabbage and cook until reduced and tender.
  5. While cabbage is cooking fry bacon until crisp.
  6. Add bacon to cabbage and onions, transfer with a slotted spoon (no need to drain) the grease will add extra flavor.
  7. Combine with cooked egg noodles.
