I looove purple/red cabbage!!! This sounds delectable!!
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 table. sugar
2 tsp. horseradish
1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
2 table. coarsely chopped crystallized ginger
1 head red cabbage, thinly sliced
2 firm red pears, coarsely chopped
salt to taste
1/2 cup chopped green onions
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Add the cabbage and salt to taste. mix well. let stand at least 10 minutes, then mix again. Add chopped pears, and green onions and mix into the salad.
