1. Brown meat in skillet. 2. Drain off fat and remove meat from skillet. 3. Shred cabbage. 4. Melt butter in skillet and add cabbage. 5. Add meat to top of cabbage. 6. Dice onion and add to top of meat. 7. Peel and thinly slice potatoes. 8. Arrange potatoes on top of onion. 9. Pour tomato sauce evenly over potatoes. 10. Salt and pepper to taste. 11. Cover skillet and simmer for 1 hour or until cabbage and potatoes are tender.
