Cabbage Beef Stew

Thick hearty stew, good on cold nights, cabbage has different taste with the tomoatoes.
Ingredients:
1 pound beef stew meat, cubed
1 head of cabbage
1 can of diced tomatoes in juice, undrained
1 small onion
4 crushed bullion cubes
2 cups of water
Directions:
1. Cook and season stew meat, Nature's Seasonings makes a good season all. Place in crock pot.
2. Cut head of cabbage into desired bite size pieces, place in crock pot.
3. Add entire can of tomatoes, juice and all, along with diced onion.
4. Add crushed bullion cubes, or powdered equivalent, along with 2 cups of water.
5. Mix stew well, salt and pepper to taste.
6. Set crock pot to high for 4 hours, low for 6 to 7 hours, checking for doneness in cabbage.
7. note: the recipe I took this from also used 1 can of kidney beans, I just happen to like it without them.
