Corn on the Cob, a common side dish, especially in the south, where corn is a plenty. The corn is sort of marinated after it us boiled in a mixture of mayo, butter and Parmesan cheese. Mouth watering goodness!
Ingredients:
6 corn on the cob
6 t mayo (not salad dressing that looks like mayo)
6 t butter or margarine
6 t parmesian cheese
6 1/4 t cayenne pepper
6 squares of aluminum foil big enough to cover a corn cob
1 t salt for water to boil corn in
Directions:
1. Boil enough salted water to cover the corn
2. Put the corn in boiling salted water and boil for 6 - 8 minutes uncovered or until it is done.
3. Take one square of aluminum foil place in it the following: ! T mayo, 1 T butter, 1 T Parmesan Cheese and 1/4 t cayenne pepper
4. Place corn on the cob on top of this and wrap the aluminum foil around the cob.
5. Do this with all six pieces of aluminum foil and corn on the cob.
6. Place on platter.
7. When ready to eat, remove foil and enjoy, keep a napkin handy, they are a bit messy delicious but messy!
